How can you achieve this?
Step 1. Take the bag and cut it into smaller pieces. The smaller the pieces, the easier it will be to remove mechanical properties from the bag, making composting easier.
Step 2. Soak the bag pieces in water for 10 minutes.
Step 3. Add the soaked bag pieces to your compost.

Step 4. Done! Continue your composting process as usual, and in a few days, it will have biodegraded. Remember to follow your composter’s instructions for best results.
While it has been proven that bax® bags can biodegrade in less than 22 days in organic waste (landfills), it is essential to know that the biodegradation time depends entirely on conditions such as humidity, heat, light, and the presence of microorganisms like bacteria and fungi in the compost.
